General Steel Crane & Rigging

First established in 1966, General Steel began in Western Kentucky and has since grown to have offices in five locations. What started as a small construction company with one crane, has transformed into a major crane rental, rigging, machinery-moving, and millwright company.

With locations in Henderson, KY; Bowling Green, Kentucky; Elizabethtown, Kentucky; Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Cincinnati, Ohio, we service clients in Tennessee, Kentucky, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Missouri, and Ohio. We have more than 60 highly skilled employees on our team, as each and every team member works full-time to accommodate your needs.

Whether you need to rent a forklift, heavy transportation, a rigging crew, an 8-ton plant crane or a 500-ton all-terrain crane, General Steel can handle all of your rigging, moving, and lifting needs. With a fleet of over 30 cranes for any type of job, we offer plant cranes, boom trucks, rough-terrain cranes (RT crane), truck cranes, and all-terrain cranes (AT cranes). Our crane fleet consists of Broderson, Shuttle Lift, National, Terex, Link-Belt, Grove, and Liebherr cranes.
